Oral Cancer Exams

Oral cancer affects more than 200,000 people each year in the United States

Oral cancer symptoms may be mistaken for other problems, such as a toothache or cold. A persistent mouth sore that does not heal is the most common symptom of oral cancer. Any area of question will be addressed during your regular dental exam with Dr. Wilson. He may suggest a Panorex x-ray as part of your dental check-up and will always do an oral cancer exam. If any additional tests are needed an oral surgeon or physician would need to be consulted. We are here to answer your questions and help with any dental problems that may arise.
