About Dr. Newton

Dr. Zack Newton is a genuine, caring, high integrity individual who truly enjoys being a dentist. Dr. Newton has committed himself to delivering excellent dental care and serving the community to the best of his ability. He has formed many long lasting friendships with patients over the course of his career. You will enjoy his personality and how he interacts with patients on a daily basis. Our goal is to treat you as a person and not just as another patient.

Dr. Newton is a native of Florence, SC. He is a graduate of West Florence High School before attending college at Francis Marion University, where he played baseball. While at Francis Marion, he began volunteering coaching baseball at West Florence and then moved on to coach at Florence Christian School. He received his doctorate from the Dental College of Georgia in 2022.Upon graduating from dental school, he worked in Murrells Inlet and then moved back to Florence where he has practiced in the surrounding areas until settling in Darlington.

Dr. Newton has one son, who he spends most of his free time with. You can normally find him at the golf course, the beach, or watching his South Carolina Gamecocks. He is an avid sports fan and loves to discuss sports with his patients.

He loves all aspects of dentistry but really enjoys getting to know his patients on a
personal level. Dr. Newton does not view his patients as just “another patient” but views each of them as his friends. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages. He became a dentist because he truly enjoys helping people and giving them a reason to smile again. He has training in many aspects of dentistry such as cosmetic procedures, oral surgery, endodontics, denture, botox, and many more! He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florence County Dental Society, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and Darlington Kiwanis Club. He enjoys being involved in the community and giving back in any way that he can.
